| This costume would have been way better had the Tigers gotten at least, a little farther in the series... |
| I've been doing homemade costumes the last two years. I kinda pride myself on them. But when cousin Jack handed the tiger costume, I couldn't pass it up. Life has been crazy, so we made it our own, but yes, I went store bought this year.... |

Lets look back at the previous two years-
| 2010 - Our little Paul Bunyan (or hobo, or coal miner, however you look at it) |
| 2011-Octopus |
| Dad doing his whiskers. I did it to begin with, but we had to wipe it off. Dad has much steadier hands |
| He was so darn funny. Last year, he was too young to understand. We did 2-3 houses and that was all. I thought that was what we would do this year, but after the second house, he figured out what was going on. So, if I stand at this door, people give me stuff? Then, the third house was handing out hot wheels and it was over. We did the entire street, plus the 39th street side, which I hadn't planned. He charged up to every house and I would knock on the door and he would stand dutifully in front of me. I put my hand on his chest and his heart was racing. He was so excited for people to open the door and fawn over him- and more importantly, give him stuff |
| Grandma and Grandpa stopped by for some pictures. I kept the Detroit part a secret to surprise them. That part was for all our Michiganite McAuley's! |
| Grandpa did it....he was getting quite owly at this point |
| B was going out with her friends- I have no idea what she was. I don't think she knows what she was... |
| Bath time! |

That video of him walking up to the house is PRICELESS! So dang cute watching him toddle up there.
Oh man, I had never seen his Halloweens before, I love them! Little Paul Bunyan...I die! I can't believe he let you guys paint his face too. That would have been the end of it around here. But of course, the lure of a house giving out matchbox cars (what!?!!) would have made things all better. Charlie obvs. looks adorbs though and the idea of him being SO excited that his heart was racing is the cutest.
I know- hot wheels? We have a quiet street, so not many kids, so I guess they can afford to do that. Paul Bunyan was my fav though- he was on the huffington post in that get up!
