Ethan's Cross Country Banquet

This is me being all sneaky taking a picture of the team picture instead of ordering one, totally cut off the other coach....oops

Charlie was such a good boy and kept himself occupied during the boring-to-a-two-year-old banquet

 This was so funny.  So he got the 'Awww, cupcake' award?  They do silly awards at the beginning and then more serious awards later.  I guess it's because everyone thinks he's so darn cute, which he is.  Look at those girls...they fawned all over him all night.  We couldn't get out of the parking lot without hugs for all of them from Ethan....oh, teenagers.

As you can tell, it was 159 degrees in this room.  We were by the window and much more comfortable

We went out for ice cream and hung out at the high school to watch B practice for marching band

Ethan got his own, but Matt, Charlie and I all shared a strawberry malt.  We just took turns.

I missed getting it on film, but earlier, when there was a break, Charlie clapped and yelled 'yea!' and about half the girls way down on the field all all exclaimed 'awwwwww'.  It was hilariously cute.

There are definitely cuter videos of Charlie, but not in the theme's they needed,  but Charlie won the 'Cutie of the Day' and yesterday, he got his prize!

I find Charlie in the oddest positions in his crib some nights.  Matt is in Vegas this weekend, so it's just me and my little man.  We miss daddy.

Missy went into labor this morning. I told her she was going to have a very difficult labor- her pregnancy had just been too smooth. She went into the hospital at 1 am and Ellie was born at 4 am- 5 lbs 11 oz. Ughh. She is so small, it's like holding a towel she's so light. She's just perfect.

When Charlie woke up this morning (about 7) we fed him an pulled him in bed with us. It's the only way to get more sleep. Well, we cat napped for a while and when I rolled over, this is what I saw. I ran for the camera.

Side note-we worked on Charlie's halloween costume last night. It's HILARIOUS. I took a ton of pictures, but Matt scolded me 'now, Mollie, you can't post these'. I know, I know, it'll ruin the fun, but they are GREAT. Stay tuned......

So, this is why I've been a little MIA lately. Things have gotten crazy wonderful down here. Plus, after 15 hours of labor, they took me c-section, so I have that on top of everything.

Here are pics of my bouquet with my mother's locket on it. My mother passed away when I was 9- I have no memories of her without this locket on. Inside are pictures of my older brother and sister. Some other nice shots of the bouquets also. Bizarre don't you think?
