| While B has been interning at the St. Louis Zoo, she has been staying with my buddy from college and his wife. It's been a bit bizarre having her dropped into that part of my life, but it's also been kind of awesome. And it's been such a blessing knowing she's in a safe spot. So we drove up and 'surprised' Scott for his 40th birthday. And since B lives with them, she came out with us too. We had, *ahem*... a really good time |

DRUNK COURTNEY IS MY FAVORITE
Late night shenanigans.
Here is a story from the night: They made this crazy big cake for Scott's birthday, but because it's a bar and everyone is drinking, not much was eaten. So, we have all this cake that Courtney has insisted we take home. Again, we're at a bar, no saran wrap, so we are just holding cake on plates. We get into the Uber and Courtney is going on and on about how we aren't going to get frosting on the minivan, and to be very careful. She is in the club seat in the middle row and I'm in the very back, directly behind her holding a massive, unwrapped plate of cake in my lap. So we're meandering home and out of nowhere she yells, 'I'm tired!!' And yanks the recline lever and SLAMS THE BACK OF THE CHAIR RIGHT INTO MY UNWRAPPED PLATE OF CAKE. And this is why I love drunk Courtney....
