This is a little delayed, but Joyce and Dick came to meet Charlie and then my Aunt Myrna ended up being in town too, so we had a great time all being together. It was so nice to have family here. Being so far away, I don't get many visitors, so I was just in heaven! Oh, and we had a massive hail storm too, so here are pictures of the crazy balls of ice that dented everyone's car. Thank goodness Dick is in insurance, I felt terrible!!

She is about to pop! She's due 10/9 so we are getting close. I went over to 'help' her and all we did was cluck like hens and eat chinese. A very productive night!

Johnny Jumper

He still doesn't really understand the concept. He pretty much just sits and sucks on the fabric. He was cool for about five minutes and then he was just done and hollered. (I swear the froggie jumper was only a coincidence)

Natalie

One of my bestest friends in the world came to see Charlie on Monday. Her being in town was brief, but it was so good to see her. I miss her so much! We talk on the phone all the time, but it just doesn't replace sitting around and laughing until we cry....

Yawning, not screaming

He loved sitting outside with us and was entranced by the flames. Matt can turn anyone into an outdoorsmen, just ask his daughter, so I guess Charlie should get used to it.

Smokey the Bear

Saw these on Oh Dee Doh and love them. Matt loved them too. You can only buy them in sets of 200 though- what's up with that? May have to just buy them and sell the others on ebay. More posters and other Smokey the Bear garb found here

We have giggles!!!! (kinda)

We have impatiently been waiting for giggles. We have big smiles and gurgles, but no actual giggles- tonight we got the closest we've been to actual giggles. I can't wait for more!

Tummy time

aaannnnddd.....he's out like a light

I know he's supposed to get tummy time, but there is something about that position that knocks him out. It makes me sad that babies don't sleep on their tummies like they did in our day- he'd love it.

Charlie's 2 month check up

4 shots and a few tears, but went well. Lord it sucks to watch them get shots. Just breaks your little heart. He was a beast about it and took it like a man. Didn't really eat for the rest of the day and pretty much just slept for the next 12 hours

Matthew- 3 months- 1975

Mollie (me)- about 3 months- 1978

In the beginning- he was a mini-me to my husband. However, in 2 short months, more people have commented that he looks like me, and I'm starting to see it now too. It's so bizarre how fast he's changing.
