Girls come down for a visit - Charlie's first soccer game and the Zoo!

It was a COLD morning for a soccer game, but the sun was out and it warmed quickly

Charlie's game was at 9, which was perfect.  So we went to the game and then headed to the zoo

I have to say, he is a pretty good little soccer player.  And having him run for 40 minutes first thing in the morning, really helped his energy level at the zoo.

Brrrrrr

Ready!  It was pretty chilly when we first got there, I was a little nervous.  But it slowly got warmer throughout the day and we were almost hot by the time we left!  Thank goodness for the stroller to hold our piles of layers as it warmed.

Cousin Love

Ready to go home, Charlie was crabby and moo-ing like a cow at this point.  We went full throttle from 9am-4:30 - we were DONE
The only picture from the house.  We grilled out and tried to watch a movie (three of the kids cashed out....).  It was SO good having them down here.  My three favorite girls!!

Bonfire

We threw Chad's new wife Geneva a shower (I didn't get a single picture) but after, we had Chad, Geneva and her awesome friend Andrea over for a bonfire.  We had a GREAT time.  We really need to entertain more....

We had perfect weather.  It was chilly, but not freezing.  We had smores and brats and lots of beer and munchies.

Ethan in every picture.....

Of course, no pictures of our guests.  Really failed at pictures this whole day, but had to put these few up

9 months

She is NOT a flower on the head type of gal....

No use trying to get her to sit for a picture anymore.  I just tried to get her doing what she does...constantly on the move

She's like her brother, she loves looking (and trying to rip) books.  Charlie reads to her all the time which is a big reason I think.

I love 9 months.  I remember this being my favorite age with Charlie.  They are just so fun and happy. She is still breastfeeding, but just 1-2 times a day.  It's still just a comfort thing.  I have a feeling it's coming to an end soon.  She has started finger foods and is a great eater.  She still only has 2 teeth.  I keep thinking the top two will be coming any day, but they are taking their time.  She should be walking very soon.  I think she could do it if she tried, but she is scared.  She is crawling everywhere and I have to keep my floors really clean.  She is so funny because when she gets busted crawling somewhere she shouldn't, she speeds it up and her bum just wiggles.  She is mischievous!  She still isn't sleeping through the night, but I think we're close.  Right now she is still going to Lauren's.  But Lauren in on the job hunt so that will change soon.  It makes me sad, but I am so supportive of Lauren doing what is right for her.
