KU makes it to the Final Four

And Charlie learns the ups and downs of being a KU fan....

Weird snapchat St Patrick's day stuff

Not quite sure how a bonnet works

We've had a mad flurry of activities for our graduating senior!

My favorite...

My Charlie

We lost the DVD remote. After searching for it for 30 minutes, Matt thought to shake the speaker (Charlie shoved a train in there long ago). Yep, little shit put it in there....

2nd grade musical - Bugz.  Charlie was an Army Ant. It was total chaos, but so cute!

Wheeeeere's Maggie?!?

She wants to be a big kid SO bad.

She has to have her own bowl of chips and her own bowl of salsa and has perfected to perfect dipping technique.

OUTSIDE! It's been a crazy long winter, so it was one of the first days we could even tolerate being outside.

Picasso Exhibit at the Nelson

We'll never be those people who have endless amounts of time to take our kids to art exhibits and other culturally enriching activities, but when the Nelson had a Picasso exhibit, I knew we had to get down there.  So on St. Patrick's Day, we packed em all up and headed downtown.

It was so fun watching Charlie absorb it all and getting his take on things.

We took a little time to wander the other areas.  Maggie was pretty much a nightmare, so we were on a limited timeline.

The shuttlecocks out on the lawn of the Nelson are one of the most iconic landmarks in the Kansas City area, so we had to go out and see them.

Scotts 40

While B has been interning at the St. Louis Zoo, she has been staying with my buddy from college and his wife.  It's been a bit bizarre having her dropped into that part of my life, but it's also been kind of awesome.  And it's been such a blessing knowing she's in a safe spot.  So we drove up and 'surprised' Scott for his 40th birthday. And since B lives with them, she came out with us too. We had, *ahem*... a really good time
Tamm Ave Bar

So fun,  I adore these two!

DRUNK COURTNEY IS MY FAVORITE

Late night shenanigans.

Here is a story from the night:  They made this crazy big cake for Scott's birthday, but because it's a bar and everyone is drinking, not much was eaten. So, we have all this cake that Courtney has insisted we take home. Again, we're at a bar, no saran wrap, so we are just holding cake on plates. We get into the Uber and Courtney is going on and on about how we aren't going to get frosting on the minivan, and to be very careful.  She is in the club seat in the middle row and I'm in the very back, directly behind her holding a massive, unwrapped plate of cake in my lap. So we're meandering home and out of nowhere she yells, 'I'm tired!!' And yanks the recline lever and SLAMS THE BACK OF THE CHAIR RIGHT INTO MY UNWRAPPED PLATE OF CAKE.  And this is why I love drunk Courtney....

We get home and get over to Matt's parents to pick up the kids and Charlie had a fever. I caught this on the ride home. #loves
