Matt turns forty!

It was a big celebration of the four of us having dinner and a little pie.  I promise, that is Matt's ideal birthday celebration.  

Excuse the mess in the background, I threw everything from dinner back there to get dessert on the table

Matt said no gifts, but I splurged and bought 4 tickets to the Detroit Tigers/KC Royals game for these three and Grandpa McAuley.  And I got the boys hats to match their dad's cuz it was cute....

Pre School Graduation

I'm so glad they didn't put on a whole show and give them caps and gowns for graduating preschool. They had a small get together, cooked some hot dogs and handed out certificates. It was chaotic, but bittersweet. I love his preschool and will miss seeing these lovely ladies every day!


They did a small slide show and every.single.picture. the kids just squealed, it was hilarious

Last day, next stop kindergarten!

We had a lot of this going on as we transitioned into big-kid summer school and no longer took a daily nap

Spent most of the day Saturday catching up from the first week of no naps.  Sleepy Charlie.....
