Christmas in Minnesota

Yea snow!!

A nasty snowstorm almost derailed our trip home, but with some careful planning and hitting the road at 5:30am, we were able to make it with little issue.  I was flying solo with the kids because Matt was in Dallas for work. But the snow made for awesome sledding with Grandpa and we got the whole day Friday with my parents, which we never get! Maggie had a nasty cold, so her wet, snotty face froze almost immediately, so we took this picture and I headed back in with her and dad stayed out with Charlie- he was such a good sport!
And it led to this cuteness

Lots of fresh, powedery snow.  Not as much as they called for but a lot! Plus, the temp dropped to about -20 (temp, not windchill - it was BRR)

Headed to the Huber party.  I tried to get Charlie to wear a bowtie, but he's growing up and wanted to wear his plaid shirt.  Sigh...

Huber Cousins- Louise always has her house so nice and dim and cozy, but that makes for crappy pictures...

Dave showing Charlie pool tricks

My favorite ladies- Sarah and Lucy

Molly, Lucy and Amy

Molly & Margaret (we have a lot of Mollys)

watching Christmas movies

She got NO attention

These pictures are a bit out of order- back to Saturday morning- more legos!!

Lots of sledding- wearing them out!

Can we talk about his face in that picture?  What a DORK

Trying to get a picture of Maggie in her Christmas outfit...
