Wine and Paint Night

I've been invited to a million wine and paint nights, I kind of make fun of them, but when they had a paint your pet, I had to get in on it.  This is me mom-ing it up by bringing beer in a breastmilk cooler

They let you cheat, they basically print the picture you submit right onto the canvas

Then you slowly start to fill it in

It looks really weird until the end when it comes together.  Plus there is an expert that walks around and fixes your messes

I went with my good friend Susan from mom's group, we had a blast.  Now I need to figure out where to put the painting...it's not like you can hang it in your living room.  To the basement!

Maggie's Blessing

Blogging has been very hard lately, so I have a lot to catch up on- many posts to come!
We had Margaret's blessing August 14th, 2016 in front of St. Anne's Episcopal Church.

It was a beautiful service and a wonderful blessing, we love our St. Anne's family!

Margaret in her blessing dress, the cutest dress that was ever made!

Her blessing was the same day as the blessing of the backpacks, so here is quick one of Charlie getting his blessed.  One of my favorite traditions we do at our church for all the kids and teachers going back to school

Maggie's Two Month Check-up

Took Maggie to get her two month check up.

Date: 8/30/16
Weight: 11.3#
Length: 23"

Don't remember what her head was and they didn't tell me her percentage (2nd child syndrome)

Same as Charlie, she screamed for just a minute and then slept most of the day.

I'm really loving that we are taking her to our family doctor instead of the pediatrician.  He's just so much more calm and rational then the pediatrician.  He goes through all his tests and each test he tells me what he is doing and what he is looking for, he's great.

Here were Charlie's stats:

He was a lot chunkier.  Not sure if it was just Charlie or if it was because he was on formula. Maggie has been on straight breast milk (I did it!!).

4 shots and a few tears, but went well. Lord it sucks to watch them get shots. Just breaks your little heart. He was a beast about it and took it like a man. Didn't really eat for the rest of the day and pretty much just slept for the next 12 hours

Date of visit 9/2/10

Height: 22 1/2" (30%)

Weight: 13 lbs 3.5oz (81%) *geesh*

Head: 15 1/2 (32%)
