Look at my child!

Charlie woke up with a rash, but it became extremely worse throughout the day.  Minute Clinic was full, Urgent Care was full, so off to the ER we went....We were in and out in under two hours, which wasn't too bad for as busy as they were.  Plus, we got room with a TV and remote so were able to watch cartoons and distract him.  It was an allergic reaction to the amoxycillin he was on.  Which is so annoying because this probably means he's allergic to penicillin.  They gave him some steroids which quickly helped and he should get better quickly.  He had the nurse snowed with his charm and she just swooned over him.  Charlie is a hit wherever we go, what can I say, we've got a cute kid...

Ready for the McAuley Christmas Party!

Christmas Day

Because Matt has his kids Christmas Eve, we do our Christmas then, so when the actual Christmas comes, we can just relax.  I've actually come to loooove doing it that way.  I'm not sure what we're going to tell Charlie regarding Santa when he's older, but him opening his presents with his brother and sister is more important than all that.  (maybe, Santa can't get around the world in one night, so we let him drop ours off early??)

Moose, moose, moose.  He cried until we let him nap with them on

Laying on my lap, using dad's new neck pillow, drinking his milk with a splash of eggnog (he LOVES eggnog) and watching Christmas Vacation (which happened to pop up Christmas morning on Netflix- it was a Christmas miracle)

I have no idea where he learned to do this but I grabbed my camera as quick as I could - he's so weird

Christmas with the McAuley's Part I

We will be doing more with the rest of the McAuley's Saturday, but Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Chad came over for presents and cheesecake

This picture is everything I know and love about my father-in-law - happy Pat

Reading the super sweet birthday card from her dad

E super excited about his new slippers

B getting her Browning necklace she asked for.  I'm not sure why all my pictures are blurry, again, I was not feeling well and wasn't paying close enough attention I guess...I apologize

Our country-camo girl (but look, she finally got her own Pride and Prejudice BBC mini series so she'll stop stealing mine) B is all camo and cowboy boots lately- I think it's really big in her school

Best present ever- a real sling shot!  Man, was Ethan excited (Charlie too)

Charlie got the cutest moose outfit ever, moose PJs, moose slippers, NAVY AND GREEN RUBBER BOOTS (oh my, die from cuteness) but this was the highlight.  (PS I love that Grandma understands our love of moose, must be a northerner thing, my sister has it too)

Grandma put a frame together of some pictures and memorabilia of B's win at State Softball- it was really cool

Wait!  One more present from Uncle Chad!

Action photo of Charlie ripping through the paper

Dogs, dogs, dogs

Time for cheesecake (which was fabulous by the way- Eggnog cheesecake with a gingersnap crust)

Super cool present that everyone on the family has played with....

My favorite Christmas present EVA

I'm looking a little rough- just came off of 5 days of death- I haven't been that sick since forever.  I'm still not feeling 100% here
I saw this on etsy and fell in love- and no offense to the etsy seller, but Matt's is WAY better.

I am in LOVE - it literally makes me happy every time I walk into the bathroom

'wiggle wiggle' Is this the cutest thing ever or what????

Christmas Train

Ethan set up Grandma Annette's train the afternoon of our Christmas (which is on Christmas eve because that's when we have B & E)  Get ready for waaay too many pictures of this, but Charlie's (and the other boy's) faces were too hilarious

Making it go under the couch

Charlie was ob-sessed

Look at him saying 'choo-choo' (he said it approximately 4,373 times)

'whoa'

Is it coming?

Down for a nap and it was the first thing he ran to when he woke up

The inside of the train box

How totally cool is this?
