Wine Tasting

We set up a wine tasting at church and used it as a fundraiser.  We had an AMAZING turnout and raised over $400!

The wine tasting company said they normally don't do groups this large, but we were all very cooperative.  Plus, any time it got rowdy Meg would shout 'The Lord be with you!' which is a Pavlov response for the return 'And also with you!' The wine tasting guy thought that was a pretty good trick

Any time you can tag a post 'church' and 'booze' is a good post.

My favorite of the night.  I'm not really a wine tasting person because I only like what I like and I don't like anything else.  Most of the wines I didn't like, too sweet....but this one was awesome.  My dad would have liked it.

Aunt Melinda is the ultimate fun Aunt when it comes to water.  I can't take my glasses off, so I tend to stay in the shallow end

Minnesota over the Fourth - Part One

This was before we got there, but Melinda came up early with the girls and they went to Valleyfair with Dad.  They were too cute not to post

It's a long drive up and we had all day, so we took our time and stopped in Clear Lake, IA for a picnic lunch

I guess we camped here when I was little, I have no memory of it.  Clear Lake is the cutest little town and the lake is so big and clean!

There was a 5K so we went up to cheer them on.  Lauren was so cute.  She clapped for like, 30 minutes straight for those runners.

They installed this huge miniature train.  They only run it on weekends and it was Friday but Charlie still thought it was pretty cool
