R2D2 costume made out of gutter material from Dad's work and construction paper.

I'm part of a fabulous Mom's group through church.  We have a lot of fun.  This is one of the rare times that we got together with our kids (usually mom's group is to ditch the kids and sit in Meg's basement drinking wine)

We had Pinterest-worthy treats made by Sarah and milled around until it was time to take the chaos to the streets

I, of course, insisted that we get all the kids together for a quick picture before we left.  What the hell was I thinking

Charlie couldn't really run in his costume and kept yelling at all the other kids 'no running!!' (because he couldn't) But when he did try to run, it was hilarious. The poor kid had a hard time with stairs and when he dropped his candy, he couldn't bend over to pick it up. At one point he got frustrated and sunk into his costume like a turtle, I can't believe I didn't get a picture in time, it was hilarious, he looked like a trash can! Poor Charlie, but he was a good sport over all and everyone raved about his costume.
