Working mother...grumble grumble

Charlie has had all sorts of adventures with his Aunt, cousins and newly-retired grandparents

They've gone to the zoo and Crown Center for no-school fun

I try...really hard...not to be sad that I don't get to do these things with my only son...

but look what fun he's having!

Honestly, I don't think I'd be a very good stay at home mom, I'm generally a worker, but man, sometimes I want to be able to play hookie!  I have a zero-hookie tolerance job.  I'm at work.  Always.

Yeah Retirement!  These two worked their whole lives for their four children....I can do it too

Enough grumbling...here is the Sea Life Aquarium.  It's this crazy, overpriced, aquarium downtown, but it's way cool

This song is on repeat on my Spotify. Almost 10 minutes long and worth every minute. Looked up the video to post here and am thrilled the video is just as weird as I thought it would be...this guy is something else. It's like 10 minutes of pure hipster-ness. I kinda like everything this guy does...

Polar Vortex

We've had a pretty cold winter this year.  But this town is pretty wimpy on weather...it was an old fashioned Minnesota winter in my book.  But hey, it's Jan 19th and it's 60 here so, like always, KC always lets up after a week or two.

It was SO cold I didn't want him to go outside, but he wanted to so bad and was getting stir crazy, so I relented.  2 pairs of socks, boots, jeans, snow pants, waffle shirt, hoodie, jacket, hat, scarf and two pair of gloves later, we were ready to go!  The kid could barely walk

And by we, I mean him and dad.  I stayed warm inside and took pictures through the window....

Cuddled up on the couch.  Me on the big couch, ALL three boys on the love seat.  Do I bite??

New Years Eve

Oh, right....blogging. Am I still doing this? Sure doesn't seem so. Time,time,time...why do I feel like this is taking more time than it used to? It's not, I think I'm a little burnt out.  I have some pictures from the last 2 weeks I'm going get up, but I think it's going to continue to be a little sparse...maybe spring will get me back into blogging. Oh well....
