I realized that it has been TEN years since I was out at the farm. Even though the landscape has changed dramatically since I was a kid, it was a flood of happy memories. I adore my Aunt Myrn and it's everything that is her.

Matt and Charlie were at a Boy Scout Camp, so it was just Maggie and I headed up to Solon to celebrate the Bartas. We spent a lot of time growing up in Solon and knew many of their old neighbors. As we got older, the time we spent there got shorter and the less we saw of their friends. It was a time warp seeing all of them at the party.

Joyce had the old King radio restored. This is the radio that all the Barta kids grew up listening to. Joyce told me once that the linoleum in the kitchen was worn down in front of it from their dancing.
