Peyton's

Charlie picked out a Hot Wheels semi...he really wanted it and didn't quite understand why it wasn't his.

They had an awesome day planned out at a petting zoo, but we were rained out, so we all crashed their house.

The man of the hour.  I love this kid.  I've never seen Charlie play so well or so sweet with anyone else like he does with Peyton.  Plus, he's just the cutest kid ever.

Charlie...not that into the play mustaches Angie got for all the kids

But Auntie Missy was!

How embarrassing, Charlie was so all over the gifts, Angie held him on her lap.  (I was writing down gifts and givers, so my hands were full)

Sweet Baby Isaac in a milk coma....didn't make a peep the whole party, love, love, love him

Ouch!

Ran into a door jam wrastlin' with Fletcher.  We both heard it happen and just waited for the wail.  The goose egg rose within seconds- it was actually impressive
Trying to figure out how keep ice on it.  Looks like Tu-Pac doesn't he?  He's fine, the bruise is starting to turn a nice yellow...

Pee Wee Football- first practice, lots of blurry pictures for your enjoyment!

Matt says I have to stop dressing him 'cute' or he'll get beat up.

Ready to go!  Put me in coach!

Burning energy before we start

Ok, so most of these were taken on my phone, far away.  Iphone camera's are awesome, if you are close and still...not so much for action photos- may need to bring my camera next time.

He had a hard time at first, pretty much ducked from the ball and fell down a lot.  He started to get better by the end of practice.  I'm realizing how small he is compared to these other kids!  They are only 3 and 4, but such a huge range in sizes!

Uf-da

Stops in the MIDDLE of practice to pick flowers for mom

The coach was great with them.  Best part?  Seeing all the weird names people give their kids.  Coach's son is named Jerzes, and another kid (who was in serious need of a bath) was named, no joke, Atreyu. Yep, as in the kid from the Neverending story- and I don't think they even spelled it right. ARRTAXX!!!

These two videos, basically the same thing, but hilarious! I could watch these videos on a loop 24-7

His new buddy Hughie, love this kid as in he had the most normal parents

So, these are really blurry because they were so far away, but the coach let the kids go over and see the big kids playing football.  They were, maybe, Junior High

The kids thought they were meeting freaking Warren Moon - they were mesmerized by the big-kid coolness.  Plus, the older kids were super sweet giving high fives them and even ran a bit with them

Pallet bench/coffee table

Started with this

Cut it in half

Thought it would be handy, half to be a coffee table for sister-in-law, half a bench for our backyard

But this one was WAY harder than my other one. Not sure why, but Matt had to do a lot of the work, so I can't boast how I did this one all by myself.

I wanted to keep it!  But this went to Sheila's where she'll finish it with light sanding and probably some stain.  This project pissed me off, so the bench I wanted to knock out the same day will just have to wait for another day, another post.  Our neighbor came out and said 'every time I see you guys, you're building something' so we have to keep up appearances.

Playing with Bows

In other events that mom doesn't participate in....hunting stuff.  But they all love it and I love that they love it.  As long as I get to sit at home while they find us delicious meat in the cold, the rain, and even the snow sometimes, I'm happy
B came home for the weekend from school for the weekend, so they all got out their bows
Even Charlie got to participate- gettin' him young
And like most nights, it ended up in baseball....

Big Boy Weekend

We had quite the weekend, I feel like I didn't sit down for two days straight.  I collapsed on the couch last night after putting Mr. down for the night.  First, we started off the weekend waking up in the middle of the night with a fever on Friday, but it passed by Saturday late-morning, thank goodness

Lot's of potty in the big boy potty!  Oh, Charlie, you are the cutest.
In other news, we took the 4th side off the crib to make a toddler bed.  We weren't going to do this- we were just going to go straight to a bed.  There is so much work involved with that, I decided to start with this.  We also took down his changing table. this only really makes mom sad- my back loved that thing.  But, we aren't a baby anymore.  I'm quickly losing all the things associated with my baby boy.  Won't miss the diapers, but I think I'll miss the containment of the crib.  He had a rough first night on it, I'm not sure he was comfortable without the side.  Hindsight, I probably should have broke him in more with it, but at least he didn't fall out!  And yes, that is a 3 year old with a pacifier.  He's insatiable for it at bedtime, SO many tears if we even talk about taking it away. One thing at a time.
