I was a little worried about bringing friends together from different times of life, but it could not have worked out better. Everyone got along great and we laughed, drank, ate, and gossiped all weekend. Melinda came down Thursday night and we went and got Rachel from the airport Friday morning.

| Courtney came in from St. Louis, Jen, Elise and Amy I know from church, Melinda my sister, and Rachel from Colorado (best friend from high school). I was seriously touched everyone came together. I think it was more about a girls weekend away then my birthday, which I was all about for these hard workin ladies. |

| I found this place on Airbnb. It was more about the place having a pool then location, and this place was in the middle of nowhere. Melinda and Rachel were a little hesitant driving up, it was a little spooky. |

But the house was great and it was so nice having the whole place to ourselves.

I did get some fun gag gifts including these super awesome drink holders

That I used alllll weekend |

| It worked out pretty perfect. We got crazy on Friday night (the pictures and video are too embarrassing to post here). We soaked up the sun all day Saturday, took naps, ate food, played cards, and like the old women we are, hit the hay pretty early. But we were all up early Sunday morning, felt great, were able to go back home and not feel like crud and be with our families. Rachel didn't fly back out until Sunday night, so we got to dinner by ourselves for my actual birthday, what a treat. |
