Last few from September

She likes to hide behind her chair and read....or poop

Movie night!

We watched Matt's parents giant puppies for a couple of weeks while they were on a cruise,  Then they got crazy sick on the way home and we had them another week. They were a pain in the ass, but pretty darn cute.  And they're puppies!  They were really good with Maggie, but they are puppies, so they're like bulls in a china shop and they chewed up everything!

Church time! I waited forever for this dress to go on sale, I was obsessed.  Then I realized, a collared dress on a baby that basically has no neck, isn't the best look....still adorable.  Other picture is one of her church besties, Avery.

Last Few From New Orleans

Terrible picture of the Tree of Life

Getting the wiggles out after an extremely long, hard day in the car
On the way home

 Charlie's journal from the trip:
'Yippee We're in New Orleans.  I hope we have a great time. Good Night.  I hope we have a great time at the Audubon Zoo. Good Night, We are on the way to the beach that looks like snow. Now we eat lunch at Shaggy's.'
'We are getting on a boat.  We are dolphin watching.  Now we head towards Cat Island. We will probably see dolphins. Now we see dolphins. Now it is time to go to sleep. Now it is time to go so we pickup is the van. We are out of the neighborhood and grandma forgets her blanket. I'm certain we go to eat now. Need to go to the restroom. Now we are on our way we are on the highway. 7 hours to the hotel. 14 miles until we are in Mississippi.'

Now we stop to eat at McAlisters Deli.  Now we are back on the road. We watch DVD called Mighty Joe Young, Now we stop to go to the restroom. Then we're back on the road. 1 minute? We are the highway 16 hours. In an hour and half we stop for a break 1 minute. Now we are on the road. Now we are home. Sweet.'

Dolphin Cruise

After spending the afternoon at the beach, we took a sunset cruise.  Matt's parents set everything up, but the boat couldn't fit us all, so they graciously stayed with crabby Maggie and let us go out and enjoy the trip. It was my favorite part of the trip. It was incredible. We had great hosts and it was great to get out on the water.

They let Charlie Captain the boat.  He quickly lost interest when he realized the boat was ran via auto-pilot.

My favorite picture of the whole trip

It took us a while to see any dolphins, but once we saw them, they were everywhere! I thought B was going to fall into the water, she was absolutely giddy.

Cat Island.  It used to have several house on it, but now only has 2-3.  They were all taken out by Katrina.  The whole thing is privately owned which is nuts to me. The island is named for raccoons which Spanish explorers mistook for cats.
