TBones- our last game ever?

We don't get out to games like we used to. TBones have been struggling financially and if they can't find a buyer, this may be their last season (*SOB*) They have been such a big part of our lives.  Matt and I went all the time when we were dating.  I met his kid's the first time at a TBones game, and we've brought our kids there for years. Hopefully they'll find a buyer and we can have many more years of memories out there.

T-Bones

We haven't been out to a game all season. Lauren was in town for a soccer tournament, so Elise came out with us.  It was so nice, she kept Charlie entertained the ENTIRE NIGHT.

Maggie DID NOT like the fireworks.  I spent the whole show prying her fingernails from my neck.

Charlie meets Frank White at the T-Bones Game

I got free tickets from work. It was a school night and it was way up first base, so we debated going, but I'm so glad we did.  We were right next to the dugout, right in front of first base where Frank White is the first base coach.  Charlie doesn't really know who he is, but after years of going to T-Bones games and seeing the whole place flip out over him, he was pretty excited.  And we were in the second row, right where the mascot and promo people enter the field between innings, so Sizzler was right by us most of the game.

The guys in front of us must be season ticket holders, Frank was talking to them on and off throughout the night.  When Frank saw Charlie starry eyed, I told him that he was a big fan.  Later on, Frank brought over Charlie a ball.

I was late with my camera, as usual.

It ended up being one of the best games we've ever been to.  We just love going out to these games.

Fourth of July at the T-Bones

Ate all the ice cubes, and then got brain freeze (tears below)

These are all out of order, but you get the idea.  I thought Maggie would sleep, but noooo.  Both kids were up until 11:30! The next day was a total nightmare.  Lesson learned.  I wholly believe that the holiday should be July 5th, not the 4th.  So you can keep your kids up late and sleep in the next day.  Gah, never again.
