Visiting B at Mizzou

We FINALLY made it up to see B at college as a whole family.  Little back story, Bridgette goes to Mizzou, my Alma Mater's biggest rival.  This rivalry was so fun until Mizzou left for the SEC (they were tired of losing to us)  So, to have a step-daughter attend Mizzou is just too weird.  But B is doing so well in school and loving it, what more could you want.

Up on the Quad- trying to not let Charlie get to attached.....

We messed around on campus and then Charlie pooped his pants (NO JOKE-this kid is 100% potty trained, has been for years and he poops his pants up there.  I blame Mizzou)

We messed around on campus for a while and saw the grounds and buildings.  We ate downtown (I LOVE college-town food!!) and headed back to the hotel so the kids could swim.

This thing is huge, it was quite the process to get all the kids up there

Next year's Christmas picture- haha, yeah right....

Last Horse Lesson

Saturday was Charlie's last horse lesson.  They got to lead the horses and ride them.

You could see Charlie just talking the poor girl's ear off as they led the horses around the arena- such a chatter box

The Girls Come to Visit KC

We aren't so good at getting pictures, but we got a few.  My favorite people ever came down to visit me.  We drank and drank  and talked and talked and talked- even broke out the dreaded high school yearbook

We stayed in on Friday night, went for Mani Pedis Saturday morning and took them to the Freighthouse Jack Stack.  The weather got amazing on Saturday so we bopped around a bit.  Went out for a fabulous dinner at McComick and Schmick's - I even tried my first oyster!  Hit the Beer Kitchen for brunch Sunday morning before taking them back to the airport after a too-short visit! We had such a good time, now we just need to do this in Mexico...

And this...Susie is so coming with us next time.  And Jeff Campbell is a jackass....

Easter 2015

For the first time ever, I actually got to dye Easter eggs with the kids this year!  I'm always at work so I always miss it. BUT, I took the day off to sign a contract at my NEW job!  I start in two weeks and I'm SO excited!

Not too many pictures, but the kids had fun.

Bridgette brought two friends from college.  It's so awesome to see those friendships form.  Your best girls from college are the friends you will have for life! They are both sweet and fun girls.

Horseback Riding Lessons

A friend from Mom's group found this crazy good deal on horse lessons so we signed Charlie up. It's been a lot of fun.  Here is a whole mess of pictures from the last few weeks.

'COME HERE. LET ME LOVE YOU'

Charlie and his little friend Evelie

They have 500 kitties on on property, very hard for the kids to concentrate with kittens everywhere

The only bad thing I can say about class is they are unaware of what 4 year olds  can and cannot do.  They had these packets that they wanted the kids to 'study'.  They kept asking them to go left or right...little above their level

They have goats and pigs and sheep.  This was my favorite.  The goat kept head butting Charlie and actually knocked him over once. It was hilarious

Chickens!

Randomly the whole fam was in town and came out to his first lesson.  We're all five together so rarely, we had to get a picture
