Bridgette's Graduation

Squirmy two year old

He's very into clapping, in fact, if you don't clap at the right time, he'll take your hands and clap them for you

He was kinda a nightmare, until the baby whisperer got a hold of him and got him to sit still

Lots of blurry pics...

This principal hugged 463 times in a row- geesh

Officially a graduate!!

Best one- Charlie was uncooperative

Toy from Grandpa

I finally felt comfortable bringing out my dad's old toy for Charlie to look at.  Charlie got this as a gift from his Grandpa.  How cool is this??

Bridgette's Graduation Party

Excuse the food in Charlie's mouth

Charlie ran for three hours straight- we literally poured him into bed later that night

I can't believe she's graduating!!

Her 'B' from Softball Senior night

Her cousin Jessica, who is also graduating this year

Siblings

This picture made me do a double take- look at Ethan!  What a grown-up handsome man!

B and her very nice, but goofy boyfriend

Backyard Baseball

This was so hilarious.  B stopped over Saturday night; we had spent the whole day moving Matt's sister and were exhausted.  We were going to just hang out and build a fire and it turned into this huge hitting game somehow.

Matt and his kids (especially B) are pretty competitive, so it got pretty rowdy.  (I love C in the top pic...I'm included! I'm included!)

They were seeing who could lay the ball in the garden.  I, as the honorary non-McAuley-baseball-blood stayed on the sidelines taking pictures and trying to keep Charlie, who wanted to be involved SO bad, out of the way

Look at E, good big brother

Involving Charlie

Matt, showin' em how it's done

Very Proud Minnesotan

Mother's Day

It was so nice because Ethan didn't have to go to his mom's until lunch, so I got ALL my boys for a walk.  There are great trails out at Fleming Park.  We don't use them enough - I mean it's been four years since we were there last
(look how little Ethan is!)

Matt promptly reminded me- uh, Mollie, we had a baby.  Oh, yeaaaaaa, that's right

So when he said we could do whatever I wanted, I wanted to go look at flowers and bugs and birds and hike down to the lake.  I love that Charlie is old enough to start doing this stuff.  Now, if he would only pee pee in the damn potty...

Just like the boys...

He did so well climbing and keeping his balance.  He learned very fast not to run (face plant) and to follow behind dad

Isn't it gorgeous out here?  I can make fun of Missouri all I want, but it's such a different landscape from even 100 miles west of here.  Very rocky, full of bluffs and foliage.

This was a plant with wide palm like leaves that was very close to the ground (this is probably 4-5" off the ground)  They were everywhere and only by lifting the leaves can you discover the flowers.  They were just gorgeous.  What in the world are they?

Happy Mamma's day to all you mammas, good big sisters, crazy awesome aunts and sweet stepmothers- love ya all
